Come learn how to raku. A tile is provided for you to glaze, along with the glazes to use, instruction regarding how to glaze and the firing of the tile. You need to bring an assortment of paint brushes to apply the glaze, a pencil, a sponge and a scraper tool, if you have one. Also bring an idea - simple black and white designs or drawings seem to work best for the first time (after you've seen how the process can be used, you'll likely be full of ideas for the next time!).

Aardvark Clay & Supplies is Southern Nevada's only clay and ceramic supply warehouse and is located at 6230 Greyhound Ln., Las Vegas NV 89122. The cost of the workshop is only $40. Class begins at 9:00am and ends at 1:30 pm-ish (depending upon when the firing finishes). Join us!
